Inspiration

I created this piece in honor of the great musician Herb Alpert.  A good friend of mine told me about a time years ago when his grandmother would put on the old 78 and all the kids would listen to Herb and the Tijuana Brass.  I could tell he was so happy about the memory, I just knew I had to paint it. This one conversation inspired me to listen to many songs by Herb and after several paper studies of the beat and rhythmic sounds, I created this 16x20 acrylic…..while listening to Herb of course! I hope it brings out a memory from your past too.

This original is 16w X 20h Acrylic on stretched canvas. The sides are finished so framing is optional.  This is available for free shipping or you may pick up in studio
